帕丁顿第四届学生节活动之——小学部第一届帕丁顿杯“Talk Show”英语演讲比赛
为了搭建一个展示帕丁顿学子英语才华的舞台，提高学生的英语综合素养，进一步落实和丰富我校第四届“学生节”活动，小学部3月24日12:00在501开展了第一届帕丁顿杯“Talk Show”英语演讲比赛决赛。
In order to build a stage to show the English talents of Paddington students, improve their comprehensive English literacy, and further implement and enrich the fourth "Student Day" activities of our school, at 12:00 on March 24, the Primary School department held the first Paddington Cup "Talk Show" English speaking contest finals in Room 501.
此次英语演讲比赛分为一至三年级的低年级组和四、五年级的高年级组。演讲主题分别是My favorite festival.和In my eye,___is the bravest person本次比赛我们全体小学生广泛参与，并进行了各年级的初赛，从而选拔出优秀的选手进入决赛，唐校长等11位评委亲临现场
This English speech contest is divided into the lower grade group (Grade 1-3) and the upper grade group (Grade 4-5) . The topics of the speech were ‘My favorite festival’. and ‘In my eye, ___is the bravest person.’ In this competition, all of our students participated extensively, and we conducted preliminary competitions for each grade, so as to select outstanding students to enter the finals. Principal Tang and other 11 judges came here.
低年级组的孩子们用童真可爱的嗓音介绍着自己最喜爱的节日，尽情享受快乐多彩的童年。高年级组的同学们充满激情地叙述着心目中最勇敢的人们，号召同学们以榜样为鉴，鼓励大家在逆境中永不退缩。
The children in the lower grades introduced their favorite festivals with innocent and lovely voices and enjoyed a happy and colorful childhood. The students in the upper grades passionately described the bravest people in their hearts, calling on others to learn from their role models and encouraging them to never retreat in adversity

隆重颁奖
本次比赛中小选手们准备充分，演讲投入。他们勤学善思、多才多艺。评委老师们为他们颁奖，同时，也对寒假期间开展的《我和外教一起过大年》学习挑战赛的获奖学生进行颁奖。
In this competition, the young players were fully prepared and devoted to their speeches. They are diligent and thoughtful. The judges presented awards to them. They also presented awards to the competition winners of the "Spending the New Year with foreign teachers" during the winter vacation.
通过这次比赛，帕丁顿小学生们收获了自信与勇敢，也锻炼了口语表达能力，培养了语言综合运用能力，展现了帕丁顿学子的风采，一起为我们点赞吧！
