“数”说精彩——第一届“帕丁顿数学之声”我是数学小讲师展示活动
数学是思维的体操！为训练学生的思维能力以及数学语言表达能力，提高学生学习数学的积极性，激发学生钻研数学的文化氛围，我校小学数学教研组组织开展了第一届“帕丁顿数学之声”——我是数学小讲师展示活动。
Mathematics is the gymnastics of thinking! We held the first Paddington Maths Voice activity. Our purpose in hosting this event was to improve the students' thinking ability, mathematical language expression, and enthusiasm for learning mathematics.
本次活动，学生全员参与，5月下旬在班级里进行初赛，有的孩子是第一次制作PPT，虽然有的孩子PPT制作得还很稚嫩，数学表达不够精准规范，但是他们的热情和跃跃欲试的表现，得到了老师和同学们的好评！孩子们彼此分享自己的数学小故事和自己最擅长的思维题目，在思维碰撞中提升了自己的数学表达和数学思考。经过了一周精彩的展示，低年级组、高年级组分别有10名、13名同学进入了决赛。
In this activity, all students participated in the competition. Some children made PPTs for the first time. Although their mathematical expression was not precise and standardized, yet they were highly motivated. The children shared their own math stories and their best thinking problems. After a week of exciting exhibitions, ten students from the lower grade group and thirteen students from the upper-grade group entered the finals.
令人期待的决赛到来啦！看，大家都是有模有样的小老师！低年级的小讲师们声情并茂地展示了一个个有趣的数学故事，虽然大家的年纪都不大，但个个都很有想法；高年级的小讲师们思路清晰地和大家分享了他们的思维训练题目，那种细腻的思考，那种严谨的逻辑，那种数学语言的组织和大方自信的态度，那种敢于和老师同学互动的勇气，不正是我们需要培养的吗？
The exciting finale is here! Look, everyone is an able teacher! The little teachers in the lower grades showed interesting mathematics stories with great affection. Although they were not very old, all of them had interesting ideas. The little teachers in the upper grades shared their ideas with everyone. We need to continue cultivating a culture of questioning, intricate thought, mathematical language and a confident attitude.
经过一番展示，孩子们获得了老师和同学们的再次肯定。

本次活动不仅可以训练学生的思维能力和语言表达能力，还可以激发学生学习数学的兴趣、培养学生的自信心。相信同学们在今后的学习生活中能更加自信、积极，取得更大的成就。
This activity does not only train the learners thinking and language skills. It also stimulates students’ interest in learning mathematics and in cultivating their self-confidence. I believe that the students will be more confident, active, and will achieve more in the future.

Mathematics is so interesting! Thanks for this activity, in which I was a little teacher. I realize my shortcomings and learned from my senior brothers and sisters. I will continue to work hard in the future.

我从来没有参加过这样的比赛，一开始我感到很紧张，也感到有些害怕，感谢陈老师对我的鼓励和指导，以后我也要勇敢挑战自我！
I have never before participated in such a competition. I felt nervous and scared in the beginning. Thanks to Mrs Chen for her encouragement and guidance. I will be more courageous in challenging myself in the future!

我第一次站在大屏幕前讲解PPT有点紧张，但作为小讲师我又很自豪。谢谢曹老师对我的指导和鼓励，让我参加学校这么棒的活动，听到好多高年级哥哥姐姐讲解那么深奥的思维训练题目，我觉得数学真是太神奇了，我越来越喜欢数学啦！
I was a little nervous when I stood in front of the big screen, but I was very proud to be a little teacher. Thanks to Mrs Cao's guidance and encouragement. I believe that mathematics is stimulating. I love mathematics more each day!

This "voice of mathematics" activity has expanded my understanding of mathematics and has developed my thinking and speaking abilities. 今天让我成功地做了一回小讲师，我非常开心。从开始制作PPT到讲解，我反复思考，怎么和同学互动，怎么用自己的理解、自己的数学语言来表达自己的思维逻辑。最后我成功啦！通过这次比赛，我更加自信了，更加热爱数学了！
Today, I am happy. I've been considering how I will interact with my classmates. I have also been contemplating how to express my thinking and mathematical language. Finally, I succeeded! I love mathematics more because of this competition!
